Coppell FC is the competitive arm of Coppell Youth Soccer Association (CYSA), a recreational association governed by North Texas State Soccer Association (NTSSA). CYSA is a non profit 501c(3) volunteer run organization governed by the CYSA Board of Directors. Our paid club staff members report to this volunteer Board.

club history

Coppell FC was unofficially formed in 2011 by Coppell Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) and consisted of 2 select teams at its inception. Nadim Shabout, our U14 - U19 Director of Coaching, was one of the original coaches for Coppell FC with his ‘97 Boys team.

In 2013, CYSA established our Coppell FC academy program for ages U7-U10. The academy program was started and grown by Jon Davies and George Williams, who are still coaching with the club. In 2016, the club was given official club status by NTSSA.

Fast forward to 2026, Coppell FC has successfully grown organically to 40+ teams, 25 professional coaches and 600+ players representing the club. Our growth has been steady, with a strong player retention rate, fantastic coaching and an adherence to the main tenant of our club philosophy - player development. We are proud to boast that we are a community based club that cares about each and every player.

Coppell FC is run by our Club Director, Jon Davies, and Directors of Coaching, Nadim Shabout & George Williams, who are hired and overseen by CYSA’s Board of Directors. As such, the club is a true non-profit organization. It was founded on the principal of making soccer accessible for all players to grow, develop and compete in North Texas.
